At Scottish Wood we mill all our stock onsite and need to ensure the functionality of our blades and quality of Timber milled and supplied. To do this we rely on sharpening and setting our blades correctly and when necessary.
Attached is a detailed guide video for ASHS (Association of Scottish Hardwood Sawmillers) from the Scottish Wood yard on correct sharpening and setting of your Bandsaw blades, to ensure that you achieve 'nice flat boarding'. Relevant for both softwood and hardwood milling.
