Hardwood Timber-shop

Our new Timber-shop opened in January 2020. It was built to take over our existing Showroom that just could no longer hold or keep up with the increased demand for our kiln dried, planed hardwood boards, offcuts, burrs and more we have to offer. It is a welcoming addition, spacious and well lit - an ideal space for browsing our stunning timber collection if we do say so ourselves!

 

All wood stock added to our Timber-shop is milled onsite, kiln dried (excluding Fresh sawn Mantles)  and planed at Sawmill before being added -  we are open to all - from hobbyists to professionals we guarantee we have quality Scottish timber to suit all needs.

Versatile timber perfect for furniture making, hardwood worktops, natural wood shelving, arts and crafts, d.i.y and much much more - with wood you're limited only by your imagination, come visit us and let your creativity flow!

At Scottish Wood we supply locally and sustainably sourced quality timber that displays the natural characteristics of the trees in Scotland - from straight, simple grained timber to cats paw/pippy, spalting, flamed and burrs. All Scottish timber is wonderfully unique and is available to you.

You're welcome to visit to browse and buy from our stunning collection of naturally characterful Scottish Oak, Elm, Beech, Sycamore, Ash, Horse Chestnut, Lime, Cherry, Poplar, Yew plus Larch and Douglas Fir, boards, burrs, blanks, offcuts, mantles and more all available in a variety of thicknesses and dimensions. Stock also available from our mixed stock shed and fresh sawn Larch sheds onsite.
