Scottish Wood is a hardwood Sawmill based in Inzievar Woods Fife, we are a well established social enterprise that has built up a reputation over the last 20 years for specialising in the sustainable production and supply of Scottish hardwood timber, timber products and premium softwoods, with all our logs being sustainably sourced from local areas in Scotland and milled onsite at our Sawmill. We pride ourselves on our commitment to provide a professional and quality service maintaining the highest standard of work and producing the best quality Timber for you, whether a member of trade or public.
 
We can supply air dried or green timber cut to order through our Sawmill so why not contact us, we have stunning Scottish timber for everyone for many purposes from craft making to building. Kiln dried timber also available.

All of our Timber comes straight from the log that we have sustainably sourced locally from well managed woodlands and mill ourselves onsite at our hardwood Sawmill here in West Fife, Scotland.

 

 We tray our Timber carefully to allow for adequate and even air flow, then leave to slowly air dry (for one year per per inch of wood thickness) before being added to our kiln and dried until between 8 - 10% moisture content, ensuring you the best quality timber when added to our Timber shop as a planed board or to our Timber stores as rough sawn timber stock.

Kiln dried, planed hardwood boards and offcuts and more perfect for furniture making, hardwood worktops, wood for arts & crafts and d.i.y -  so versatile and suitable for a variety of purpose - limited only by your imagination - available from our Timber-shop onsite. We offer a selection of our timber stock available to buy through our online store delivered direct to you at home. Prices shown online include vat plus p&p.
