Resinous and extremely hard wearing making Larch one of the toughest and most durable softwoods, suited to high traffic areas and resistant to knocks and scrapes Larch is perfect for both residential and commercial projects.
Larch is an attractive timber with warm reddish brown or terracotta colour with golden streaks adding warmth and character, this fades to silver/grey after prolonged exposure to sun leaving a beautiful rustic weathered look. Colour can be preserved with use of Osmo UV protection with regular upkeep.

Larch when untreated (and not in ground contact) has a lifespan of 50 to 60 years. When treated the life expectancy exceeds this. Posts can be cut from Scottish Oak to further help preserve deck.
