At Scottish Wood we offer kiln dried Firewood, split and kiln dried at our Sawmill in Fife.
Our firewood is predominantly Larch although there may be some other kiln hardwoods (mainly Scottish Oak) mixed through. Larch is arguably one of the best firewoods. It is classified as a softwood but is actually harder, and with a higher calorific content than many hardwoods, making it an excellent firewood.
Our Firewood is kiln dried, ensuring you the best burn while producing lower smoke emissions.
Firewood available to pick-up onsite at our Sawmill or delivered locally in Scotland. (Subject to availability).

Kiln dried logs -1.5m³ load @ £140. Please note this will increase to £150 from 1st June 2025. Approx equivalent - just over 2 builders bags. Larch and hardwood mix kiln dried firewood logs. Please note that due to the operation of our firewood processor, there may be some smaller kindling pieces as well as offcuts and wood waste (such as bark) included in the supply.
NEW Sawmill Offcut Option - Kiln dried Sawmill Offcuts @ £70 per 1.5m³ load. Small offcuts produced from our Sawmill processing, max lengths 12", varying widths - perfect for creating warm and inviting fires! Great for Wood-burners, BBQs and Fire pits! Minimum 2 loads for delivery.

Collection onsite Mon to Thur during opening hours; 8am to 4pm. - Firewood can either be tipped into a trailer or into a crate on yard for you to hand-ball into vehicle.
Deliveries available locally while available. Priority is given to collections. We can deliver in our transit tipper which tips to the rear can hold up to a triple load - Logs are loose and there is space required behind and above for tipping. We recommend laying a tarp to help clear the area of debris.
Delivery cost is additional, and a rough estimate is £3.00 per mile from KY12-8HB, minimum £15.00. Delivery to local areas only when available.
Delivery charge is the same whether it's a single, double or triple load. We prioritise multiple loads.
Firewood log bags
Net Log bags @£8 and offcuts for kindling @£15 available to pick-up onsite. Please note these sell fast and may be worth giving us a call to check stock levels before travelling for pick-up.
