Beautiful & sustainable, homegrown timber 

Everyone at Scottish Wood is always incredibly kind and helpful. I have visited many time to get roughsawn local hardwoods for furniture projects. Their quality is spectacular and they are very fair when it comes to costing their lumber. On top of that, they're a charity! I don't think they can be beat. I'm headed down to buy more wood from them today.

I bought a kiln dried and planed basswood / lime blank (small log) online and had it delivered, all for a very good price. I received a lovely piece of wood that was well packaged to prevent damage. The communications with status updates were excellent and I would not hesitate to buy from Scottish Wood again.

Had a really interesting tour organised by the charity side, Dynamic Woods, and Stirling Uni. Johannes is very knowledgeable and does a great job looking after the forest here.

Awesome place to visit. So glad I heard about this place. Came from Stirling for some off cuts and wasn’t disappointed. Literally thousands of pieces. Ideal for my box making. Small bits to huge bits. The lassie that served me was very nice and knew what she was talking about. 100% recommend this place for any woodworker looking for pieces of any size. Also have a great mixture of species. Definitely wasn’t overpriced either. Like a woolworths pick and mix for wood. Will definitely be back soon. 👍
