What's New?WIAT Funding Inzievar Woods has received Fundign from the Forestry Commision to help mange the woods and develop work with the local community. If you have any ideas that you want to see incorporated into the woodland plan from wwoodland events to palces for seats then please let us know. Website Development We are also developing and expanding the website to include more inforamtion about the woodlands. If you know any history, or have good photos please let us know. Forest Education Initiative Dynamic Woods and Inzievar Woods are part of the West Fife Forest Education Initiative. Over the next year we hope to be training Forest School leaders and holding events to raise awareness of our local woodlands, local timber businesses and encouraging schools to get out and access the countryside as part of their day to day curiculum. Seriously, composting toilets themselves may not be the most exciting thing of the millennium, however they offer an important part in the sustainable management of our countryside, community woodlands and wilder amenities. If you would like more information about installing and managing composting toilets call us or come and see for yourselves Grants from Hanson Environment Fund, Fife Environment Trust and Fife Council have made this possible Scottish Wood CentreThe Scottish Wood centre was set up with the help of funds from Rural Challenge, Fife Environment Trust and Shell Better Britain. We take in waste timber and timber from woodlands undergoing management in the local area and convert it to kiln dried or fresh sawn timber. We also produce flooring and some basic outdoor furniture. If you would like to have something made then please check out local craftsmen who work with us. We need your helpDynamic Woods aims to bring
all interested parties together to forge a sustainable way forward for
our woodlands. If you are interested in wood or woodlands, whether you
are in a timber related business or enjoy DIY, live in the local community
